Bye Bye Birdie first opened at the Martin Beck Theater on April 14, 1960 and had a run of 607 performances.

This fall the Bolivar High School Drama and Music Departments are putting on the musical comedy, "Bye Bye Birdie". This musical is about rock n' roll star, Conrad Birdie, who has been drafted into the US army. Birdie's songwriter and agent, Albert Peterson, and Albert's secretary, Rosie Alvarez, pull together a plan to stop Albert's music company from going under. Conrad Birdie will give "one last kiss" to Kim MacAfee, the leader of Birdie's fan club.

Performances are: 
November 12th and 13th at 7pm  November 14th at 2pm
Tickets
$4 for students   $5 for adults
Primary and Intermediate Kids are free!
