Aesop's (Oh So Slightly!) Updated Fables

This fall the Bolivar Drama Department is putting on the exciting play "Aesop's (Oh So Slightly!) Updated Fables." Originally produced at the Webster Groves Theatre Guild on December 12th, 1997, this play retells five of Aesop's most famous fables including: The Dog and the Bone; Tortoise and the Hare; Lion and the Mouse; Fox and the Grapes; The Miller, His Son, and and the Donkey; and The Country Maid. This play is a fast-paced show full of surprises great for all audiences. 

Aesop was a legendary figure that is the supposed author of a collection of Greek fables. Five of his are told in the current production this fall, adapted by Kim Esop-Wylie.

Auditions are Tuesday, September 22nd at 3:00pm in the High School Auditorium. Memorize a 1-minute comedic monologue. Cold reads and improve may also be expected.
